System / Software Avionic Control Laws Engineer
The qualified candidate will be responsible in defining, designing, supporting and certifying control laws for Part 23, 25, 27, and Part 29 autopilots.
Specific and detailed responsibilities will include the following:
· Lead and support the development of the system architecture and system design for new autopilot products or new functionality to existing products
· Using the existing system and software processes in place, lead system engineering efforts to support the achievement of major and minor TSOs for existing products which involve the following: requirements, design, reviews, checklists, integration testing, system V&V activities
· Perform flight test engineering duties to test products in normal flight conditions
· Generate system and software specific requirements that meet both customer specifications and FAA requirements (FARs and ACs)
· Support FAA SOI audits for TSO certification
· Be able to develop and analyze System Safety Assessment (SSA) and Functional Hazard Assessment (FHA) documents.
Capabilities
The candidate will have at least 5 years of requirements writing, design, test and certification experience in the aviation/avionics field. The candidate will have at least 5 years of experience designing, testing, and certifying Avionic Flight Control Systems.

Sr. Engineering Technician
This candidate plans, develops, and conducts tests on electronic components, products, and systems by performing the following duties.
Primary role and responsibility include, but are not limited to the following:
- Determines conditions under which tests are to be conducted and sequences and phases of test operations.
- Directs and exercises control over operational, functional, and performance phases of tests.
- Confers with engineering personnel to resolve testing problems such as product or system malfunctions, incomplete test data and data interpretation.
- Analyzes and interprets test data and prepares technical reports for use by electronic engineering and management personnel.
- Develops or uses computer software and hardware to conduct tests on electronic products and systems.
- Assist all levels of engineers with their tasks and assignments.
- Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
- Has the ability to take minimal documentation and create working prototype equipment and devices.
- Ability to design and layout printed wiring boards using appropriate software.
Capabilities
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or 5 to 7 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of Design software required; must possess knowledge with Internet, Spreadsheet, and Word Processing software.
Materials Program Manager
Candidate will be responsible for coordinating multiple programs’ material demands in support of program schedule and delivery requirements. This position directly functions as part of the purchasing team in support of program management activities.
Primary role and responsibility include, but are not limited to the following:
- Plan issue and control material demands in order to meet program production scheduling requirements.
- Function as a leader in advising management of the program's position in regards to work in progress, production issues, material availability, obsolescence issues and engineering issues affecting program delivery status.
- Coordinate interdepartmental activity with Sales, Quality, Purchasing, Engineering, and Contracts.
- Convert high level Program Schedules into detailed schedules and material requirements lists in support of internal Operations/Purchasing &Production activities.
- Interface with Program Management and Customers if required to advise of production status and potential problems.
- Identify methods to ensure products meet the Program Master Schedule requirements.
Capabilities
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related discipline. Minimum of four years relevant work experience in a material planning role preferable in an avionics or defense manufacturing environment. Strategic planning / thinking skills, coupled with analytical and execution skills. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and be a team player with excellent attention to detail and follow-up.
Strong and demonstrable understanding of MRP logic with experience suing scheduling tools. Ability to work with computer desktop tools such as MS Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, Crystal Reports) to assist in completing essential duties.
Electrical Hardware Engineer
The qualified candidate will be responsible for performing as part of a team to define, design, support and certify avionic hardware products
Specific and detailed responsibilities will include the following related to the company’s avionic products:

Support the creation and modification of the hardware architecture, hardware requirements and hardware design for new and existing products.

Support production by providing guidance on issues such as obsolescence

Support Hardware/Software integration testing and assist in flight testing of the company’s products

Develop Environmental Qualification Test Plans for DO-160 Lab testing

Oversee DO-160 Environmental Lab testing of company products

Develop Product Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs) for production to verify proper functionality of products

Write C software to implement developed algorithms that satisfy system requirements

Interface with the customer and be able to travel to customer sites when necessary

Be able to document the reliability of a product through the creation of a Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEAs) document.
Capabilities

Electrical Hardware Engineer (Sustaining)
The qualified candidate will be responsible for performing as part of the Sustaining Engineering team to define, re-design, support and certify existing avionic hardware products
Primary role and responsibility include, but are not limited to the following:
· Support the creation and modification of the hardware architecture, hardware requirements and hardware design for existing products.
· Support the obsolescence engineering process and collaborate with operations/purchasing to identify solutions.
· Provide technical alternatives for and coordinate the solution for material and manufacturing issues including compatibility with existing production designs.
· Assist in the development of software and instructions for automated equipment.
· Investigate production issues with existing designs during the manufacturing process.
· Support Hardware/Software integration testing and assist in flight testing of the company’s products
· Develop Product Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs) for production to verify proper functionality of products
· Interface with the customer and be able to travel to customer sites when necessary
Capabilities
The candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in designing, testing and certifying avionic related hardware products.
